Description
This glasswasher is for bars and cafés that need a compact machine that can also handle tall glassware. The Ecomax Plus G415-D fits under most bar counters at 850mm high including its adjustable legs. It has a 315mm loading height, so tall glasses and jugs fit without tilting or squeezing them in.
It runs on single-button control. A colour-coded status light shows staff what the machine is doing, which makes training new starters quick and simple. You can choose a 60, 120 or 180-second cycle depending on how busy service is. A dedicated cutlery cycle means it can also wash cutlery, not just glasses. There's also a Hygiene programme that clears calcium build-up from the wash chamber when used with Hobart Hygiene-Tab INTENSIV.
Each rinse uses just 1.8 litres of water, and the deep-drawn, low-volume wash tank holds only 8 litres. That keeps your water and heating costs down. A built-in rinse pressure pump keeps wash results consistent even when your supply pressure drops or fluctuates, which is common in regional venues.
Ecomax Plus G415-D or Ecomax 404-C?
Both machines are the same compact height. The G415-D has a more powerful wash pump (160L/min compared with 120L/min) and a faster-heating 2.8kW booster. It also adds a cutlery cycle and an insulated cabinet. If you only wash glasses at a moderate pace, the 404-C will do the job. If your machine runs hard through service or you want to wash cutlery too, the G415-D is the better fit.

What's in the box
The machine comes with one 396 x 396mm rack, a grid shelf that supports racks up to 400 x 400mm, fill and drain hoses, detergent and rinse aid pumps, and a 15A single-phase plug and lead.
Good to know before you buy
The machine needs a 15A power point, not a standard 10A outlet. If your water hardness is above 3°dH, Hobart recommends a water softener to protect the machine. If you connect it to cold water, the listed cycle times will run longer while the machine heats to temperature.
