Description
This is the high-volume machine in the Ecomax undercounter range. It's built for kitchens that wash more than plates and glasses, such as trays, larger bowls and bottles. The 425mm loading height is one of the tallest you'll find in an undercounter machine, so large items go in without being angled or wedged.
The 0.5kW wash pump moves 380 litres a minute, more than double the flow of the standard Ecomax 504-C. That helps clear heavy, baked-on soil without a second run. It has dedicated cycles for different loads. You get 60, 120 and 180-second washes, plus special cutlery and glass cycles and a Hygiene programme for removing calcium build-up (used with Hobart Hygiene-Tab INTENSIV). Add Hobart's bottle wash kit and it can also clean bottles, which is handy for venues that refill or reuse them.
It's simple to run, with single-button control and a colour-coded status light. The deep-drawn wash tank holds only 10.6 litres, and each rinse uses 2 litres. Less water to heat means lower running costs. The insulated cabinet and door keep noise down to 60.5 dB(A), and a dampened door mechanism means the door doesn't slam open or shut.
For extra capacity, an optional double rack insert lets you wash two layers in one cycle, such as cups underneath and saucers or plates above. That cuts the number of cycles you run each service.
Ecomax Plus F515-D or Ecomax 504-C?
Both are undercounter dish and glasswashers with 500 x 500mm racks. The F515-D has a taller chamber (425mm compared with 360mm), a much stronger wash pump and extra cutlery, glass and bottle cycles. It's also quieter and supports the double rack insert. If you mainly wash plates and glasses, the 504-C will do the job. If you're washing larger items, heavier soil or high volumes, the F515-D is the better fit.

What's in the box
The machine comes with one plate rack, one flat rack, one 4-section cutlery basket, fill and drain hoses, detergent and rinse aid pumps, and a 15A single-phase plug and lead.
Some product images show optional accessories, sold separately. These are the double rack insert, the bottle wash kit, Hobart Hyline chemicals and the RO-S reverse osmosis unit.
Good to know before you buy
The machine needs a 15A power point, not a standard 10A outlet. If your water hardness is above 3°dH, Hobart recommends a water softener to protect the machine. If you connect it to cold water, the listed cycle times will run longer while the machine heats to temperature.
