Description
Most undercounter dishwashers can't take a full-size baking tray. The F515L-D can. Its extra-deep wash chamber takes 600 x 400mm Euronorm baking sheets and trays, and its 425mm loading height fits large crates and containers. It suits bakeries, cafés, fast-food kitchens and snack bars that would otherwise scrub trays by hand in the sink.
The 0.5kW wash pump moves 380 litres a minute, which is enough to shift baked-on residue and heavy soil without a second run. You can choose a 60, 120 or 180-second cycle depending on how dirty the load is. There's also a Hygiene programme that clears calcium build-up from the wash chamber when used with Hobart Hygiene-Tab INTENSIV.
It runs on single-button control. A colour-coded status light shows staff what the machine is doing, so anyone on shift can use it. The deep-drawn wash tank holds only 10.6 litres, and each rinse uses 2 litres. Less water to heat means lower running costs. The insulated cabinet and door keep noise down to 60.5 dB(A), and a dampened door mechanism means the door doesn't slam open or shut.
Ecomax Plus F515L-D or F515-D?
The two machines share the same wash pump, loading height and running costs. The F515L-D has a deeper chamber (640mm compared with 603mm) so it fits 600 x 400mm trays. The F515-D adds cutlery, glass and bottle wash cycles. If trays and crates are a big part of your washing, choose the F515L-D. If you're mainly washing plates, glasses and cutlery, the F515-D is the better fit.

What's in the box
The machine comes with one plate rack, one flat rack, one 4-section cutlery basket, fill and drain hoses, detergent and rinse aid pumps, and a 15A single-phase plug and lead.
Good to know before you buy
The machine needs a 15A power point, not a standard 10A outlet. It's deeper than a standard undercounter dishwasher, so measure your bench depth before ordering. With the door open, it needs 1086mm of clear space in front. If your water hardness is above 3°dH, Hobart recommends a water softener to protect the machine. If you connect it to cold water, the listed cycle times will run longer while the machine heats to temperature.
