Hobart Profi AMX Hood Type Glass & Dishwasher

The Profi AMX is a single-rack hood type machine for busy kitchens that want fast throughput and lower running costs. Staff slide a rack across from the bench, pull the hood down and slide the clean rack out the other side. It fits into a dish line between a pre-rinse sink and an outlet bench, either straight-through or in a corner. The 440mm chamber takes large plates, trays and pots, and the shortest cycle is 60 seconds.

The wash arms clean themselves during every cycle, SENSO-ACTIVE keeps rinse water to a minimum, and the GENIUS-X² fine filter system reduces detergent use. Staff run it from a colour touchscreen, and the SmartConnect app shows usage, running costs and service information. The fully enclosed hood keeps steam out of your kitchen. VAPOSTOP ER exhaust heat recovery, drain water heat recovery and AUTO-HOOD LIFT are available as optional upgrades.

Profi AMX or Ecomax Plus H615? Both are three-phase hood machines with a 440mm chamber and a 60-second cycle. The AMX adds the touchscreen, app connectivity, self-cleaning wash arms, SENSO-ACTIVE and the option of heat recovery. If you want the lowest running costs and the least maintenance, choose the AMX. For a reliable, straightforward hood machine, the H615 will do the job.

Good to know before you buy

The machine draws 7.1kW on a three-phase 3 x 15A supply, so have an electrician check your power before ordering. With the hood raised, it stands 1995mm tall. Keep the right-hand side accessible if you’re installing it in a corner. If your water hardness is above 3°dH, Hobart recommends a Hydroline Protect softener, and Hydroline Pure reverse osmosis for spot-free results.
