Description
This is the top of Hobart's compact glasswasher range, built for venues that want spotless glassware, a quiet bar and less guesswork for staff. The Profi GC pairs a colour touchscreen with simple single-button operation, so anyone can run it. The screen also shows how much time is left on each cycle.
Its GENIUS-X² fine filter system includes a pre-wash function that reduces detergent use by up to 35%. The machine also records its own operating data, including water and chemical use, and displays it on screen. You can download that data as a report by USB or follow it through Hobart's SmartConnect app, which shows machine status, usage, running costs, hygiene and service information.
The 315mm loading height fits tall glassware. An Intensive programme uses extra fresh water for delicate or awkwardly shaped glasses. At 57 dB(A), it's one of the quieter glasswashers you can put behind a bar, which customers sitting nearby will notice.
Profi GC or Ecomax range?
The Profi GC is quieter than the Ecomax machines (57 dB compared with 62 dB) and adds the touchscreen, app connectivity, data recording and fine filter system. The Ecomax models give you simpler controls and a shorter 60-second cycle. If you want the most control and lower running costs over time, the Profi GC is the better choice. If you just need clean glasses fast, an Ecomax will do the job.

Good to know before you buy
The machine needs a 15A power point, not a standard 10A outlet. If your water hardness is above 3°dH, Hobart recommends a water softener to protect the machine. If you connect it to cold water, the listed cycle times will run longer while the machine heats to temperature.
