Description
Most glasswashers clean glasses, but water spots and streaks can still mean someone polishes every glass by hand before it goes back on the shelf. The Profi GCROI has a reverse osmosis unit built in. It removes dissolved minerals from the rinse water before it reaches your glasses, so they come out spot-free and need much less hand polishing. For a busy bar, that saves real staff time every shift.
Because the reverse osmosis unit is built into the base, you don't need a separate unit taking up space beside the machine. The whole machine is 820mm high, which still fits under most bar counters.
Apart from the reverse osmosis, it has everything the standard Profi GC offers. A colour touchscreen works with simple single-button control and shows the time left on each cycle. The GENIUS-X² fine filter system reduces detergent use by up to 35%, and the SmartConnect app shows machine status, usage, running costs and service information. It also has a more powerful wash pump than the standard GC (220L/min compared with 160L/min). At 57 dB(A), it's quiet enough to run beside customers.
Profi GCROI or Profi GC?
If you have hard water, or your staff spend time polishing glasses after every wash, the GCROI pays for itself in labour. If your water is already soft, or you're happy to fit a separate water treatment unit, the standard Profi GC is lower and more compact at 705mm.

Good to know before you buy
The machine needs a 15A power point, not a standard 10A outlet. The incoming water supply must be no hotter than 35°C because of the reverse osmosis unit, so connect it to cold water. The reverse osmosis unit also needs its own gravity waste to a tundish, so check this with your plumber before installation. If you connect it to cold water, the listed cycle times will run longer while the machine heats to temperature.
