Description
The AMXXL is Hobart’s largest hood type machine, built for high-volume kitchens, bakeries and production sites. Its 540mm chamber takes up to 24 plates per rack, eight 600 x 400mm baking sheets, eight 660 x 500mm trays or two 1/1 gastronorm boxes in one load. The shortest cycle is 52 seconds, and the ROTOR-X upper and lower wash arms, driven by a 1.2kW pump, handle heavy soil.
It has the same smart features as the Profi AMX. Staff run it from a colour touchscreen, the wash arms clean themselves every cycle, SENSO-ACTIVE keeps rinse water to a minimum, and the SmartConnect app shows usage, running costs and service information. The fully enclosed hood keeps steam out of your kitchen. You can add VAPOSTOP ER exhaust heat recovery, drain water heat recovery and AUTO-HOOD LIFT as optional upgrades.
AMXXL or AMX? The AMXXL has a taller 540mm chamber, a larger rack option and a faster cycle. If you regularly wash oversized trays, sheets or GN boxes, choose the AMXXL. For standard plates and glasses, the AMX will do the job.

Good to know before you buy
The standard model draws 16.5kW on a three-phase 3 x 32A supply, so have an electrician check your power before ordering. With the hood raised, it stands 2195mm tall. Keep the right-hand side accessible if you’re installing it in a corner. If your water hardness is above 3°dH, Hobart recommends a Hydroline water treatment system.
